Grace Schwanda is a musician from Wheaton, Illinois. She is originally from New Jersey where she received her B.A. and M.A. from Montclair State University. Grace studied Orff, Kodaly, and Dalcroze at Manhattan School of Music and is a published composer and author. She writes frequently for The Chorister, the magazine of the Choristers Guild.
Grace teaches music listening online for Grand Rapids Community College and she is on the music faculty at Wheaton College teaching Elementary Music Methods and String Technique. Ms. Schwanda is a certified teacher in pre-school, K-6 education and grades K-12 music and physical education.
She began teaching for the MEC program for GECC beginning in 2007. In her spare time, Grace referees soccer and enjoys knitting and reading.
